It doesnt seem to work, the plug in in wmp is turned on and i have ticked the music thing in msn and it does nothing... any ideas?

in windows media player, go to >tools> plugins and make sure that "MSN Messenger Music Plugin" is selected. try to uncheck it and check it again if it already was.

Yes it is ticked and on etc but it still doesnt work

Try switching aongs a few times, that's how I got it to work...

And if you want to use it with winamp... use  http://msnblog.stuffplug.com/wp-content/gen_msn.zip

I'm having the same problem with media player and with winamp. Tried gen_msn and toaster and both with no luck.

Might want to make sure that the feature is turned on in Messenger by clicking on the arrow on the right of your personal message and checking "Turn On 'What I'm listening to'".

And after you've done that, exit and restart Media Player.

what I'm listening to is ticked, wmp plug in is on restarted both msn and wmp as well as the computer several times... no luck.. I think it just hates me
