When I try to send any file to anyone by using the /sendfile command it doesn't work. Instead, a popup window appears saying that the file could not be send. I'd be very helpful to know what to do because that's one of the commands I use the most. Thanks, bye

what file are u trying to send an what MSN Messenger version u using

any kind of files, from pictures to word or exel files. I'm using the last version of messenger, (7.0) and the messenger plus 3.50.

MSN Messenger now blocks some files in order to stop the spreading of viruses over msn messneger. The files that are blocked are the following:

ade .adp .app .asp .bas .bat .cer .chm .cmd .com .cpl
.crt .csh .exe .fxp .hlp .hta .inf .ins .isp .its .js .jse .ksh .lnk
.mad .maf .mag .mam .maq .mar .mas .mat .mau .mav
.maw .mda .mdb .mde .mdt .mdw .mdz .msc .msi .msp .mst
.ops .pcd .pif .prf .prg .pst .reg .scf .scr .sct .shb .shs .tmp
.url .vb .vbe .vbs .vsd .vsmacros .vss .vst .vsw .ws .wsc .wsf .wsh

Try zipping your files before sending them.

majority of files names are blocked from sendin g through MSN Messenger 7  .. due to Viruses

The /sendfile command has ben fixed in version 3.51 for Messenger 7.
