Hey, I'm trying to install the 'Now Playing' plug-in, but when I try to open the installer, a window comes up saying:

Error: Could not write DLL

Any ideas how i can fix it? I've tried restarting Messenger, as well as the computer but nothing seems to be working!

It may be a problem with the versions that you have, by the "Now Playing Plugin" what do you mean? Where did you get it from?

It was from this site, in the download section.

Well, if it was in the download section, then it is one of the older plugins that may or may not work with the latter versions of MSN Messenger...

So I'm afraid that it won't be compatible... why do you need it anyway? The new MSNM7 has a now playing personal message anyway .

It only works with windows media player.

And you have it saying you want it in your options.

You can get a plugin for MSNM 7 that allows you to use Winamp. Read Tashas Reaply To Song under nickname.

There already is a thing on MSNM7 which lets you have the song playing with Windows Media Player. Under your name in the contact list, tick 'Turn On What I'm Listening To'.
