hi,
i had bought the game Age OF Empires:Conquerors about a month ago and had been playing it fine since then. But when i ran the game today the game crashed when i started the game. also, every time i run the game, it asks me to create a new profile.
i have tried un-installing, re-installing, everything bout cant get the game to run.
i cd is in a very good condition too without any scratches.
can someone please help me as i have to go to a multiplayer competition of the game.

ermmm. all i can think of is there any updates or patches out maybe?

Actually u need to update be4 playing online .... it will prompt u automatically
I have played online via msn messenger friends but not yet with the open public tho i have gone to the rooms n all

Many reasons why that happens so it cant be said Most of the time its nothing but in ur case it is a long term thing

I think in some way it cant save ur profile n ur old one got deleted or something
Try unistalling (i know u have Read futher plz ) then rebooting then installing the game n the upgrade then running the game ....
That should work

i got the game to run properly. just did a virus scan, deleted two infected crap files and voila! perfect again.
