Hi!

After upgrading msgplus (from 3.50) to 3.52 the msn messenger hangs a lot of time. The hangs mostly happens when playing games from mess.be's patch.. The patch worked fine before with 3.50.

Dont know if this is a problem with msgplus or that the patch is incompatible with the new version of msgplus.

The patch might be incomatible with 3.52 or mabbe its a coincidence ...  can u send a link to me about what patch from mess.be are u talking about.
Just put a download link to that patch here and ill see what can be done

kabalhora: Im not sure mine works perfectly. Do you have the new msn? (7.0.0777) I dont think the messenger plus! can be making this patch not work.

John Anderton: I think she is talking about a patch.(http://apatch.tk) A patch has mess.be games and i have messenger plus! 3.52. and it works perfectly. Im not sure she is talking about this, but its the only patch that i know that can give u mess.be games.

Reinstall your MSN Messenger, then try reinstall your patch, with MSN Messenger. If the problem persists, please post.

I've just the same problem as kabalhora.. We have exactly the same versions of the applications.

Running with MSN Messenger 7.0.07777, msgpluss 3.52 and the messpatch0777 patch.

MSN hangs when playing games, especialy when playing the extra games comming with the mess.be patch.

Everything worked just fine before the 3.52 update came.

Have tried too uninstall and reinstall, it don't get any better..

Can you zip and send me your MSN Mesenger directory to mplus@patchou.com ? if there's an incompatibilty problem with the patch, I need to be sure I'm using the exact same options as you are.

That's done...

The only difference between my and kabalhora's msn installation is that his computer runs wild on the CPU utilization... jumps too 100% utilization, and when he closes the window with the games the MSN process stops using 100%... At my computer MSN just panics and dies. Have too start a new process as the old one gets killed.

One more thing.
Kabalhora uses norwegian MSN, I use english. But we both run norwegian Windows XP, both with SP2...

Are you using any skins or any other patches besides MessPatch? I recommend reinstalling MSN Messenger, then applying the A-Patch. I like this patch better as it has more features, and it also has many of the same features, such as Mess.be Games. If the same problem happens when you also use the A-Patch, then we can safely eliminate a bad patch job.

I'll try that one... It's kind of boring too just play a game for a couple of seconds or so and get kicked out...
