Everytime I want to check who's online in my contact list I double click the MSN icon in the system tray, open the MSN window, check status of my cointacts and close it. Is there any plugin/patch that will enable to do this by just hovering the mouse arrow on top of the system tray's MSN icon displaying a popup window listing the contacts that are online?
This would be very helpful as it would save all mouse clicks needed to check this.

I think he means he likes the suggestion. However, I fear it'd be difficult to implement.

well there is one sort of it thats ''show contacts on desktop'' but maybe thay could change that feature to who ever comes online come on the desktop maybe thats much easier so i suguest to make the the contact on desktop like i discribed it if its possible

Why do you say it'd be difficult to implement? Right now, if you hover your mouse on top of your online MSN messenger icon in the system tray a display popups saying:"MSN Messenger - Signed In". Imagine if instead a display could popup showing the contact list with all your online contacts...

The challenge is detecting when the mouse is over the icon. That's why I said it's difficult.
