The adverts at the right are called tabs. They can be removed by going to the main Messenger Window > Tools > Options > Security > uncheck the box next to "This is a shared computer so don't display my tabs".

You can pick which search engine you want that search bar to use with StuffPlug-NG

The status idea is useless because you can already see it in the yellow box under their name.

You can deactivate the nudges in the Messenger Settings.

Many of these features you can get with other add-ons already.

You can get a Messenger Plus! Tab by downloading the mess games patch (http://games.mess.be) or it should appear in the tab manager of StuffPlug NG (http://stuffplug.com).

There is a plug-in out where you can choose what search engine the search bar uses aswell. This I can't remember what it is but I'm sure someone will suggest this in this thread.

It is not possible to automaticly retrieve the contacts MSN stats without getting permision from them or you both having a program allowing this.

You can hide the display picture simply by clicking the hide button on the top right of the display box and there are many programs which you can save other contacts display pictures. One of these is once again StuffPlug NG.

You can disactivate the Nudge alerts in the MSN Messenger Personal Settings menu or with the mess patch (mess.be)

Sharing folders in P2P would probably not be something Messenger Plus! would want to incorperate although you can send files individually by clicking send files or something simular o p2p is Application Sharing.

There is know way i know of, of obtaining the version number, but if s/he is using msgplus is possible by sending '/ping'

and once sent, the information is accessible via the contact infomation, by right clicking the contact in the contact list.
