Anyone know how i can hide taskbar icons in Win 2000?

I think that is only in windows xp that has that feature I don't think it can be done in win 2000 sorry.

you can hide all of the icons using HideShow from Dempsey Software but you probally only want to hide some of them i'm guessing?

Well I can make a little program to remove or hide the MSN icon for you if you want?

well i can easily hide/change the systray icon, but I'm not sure Plus! hides the message windows in the taskbar, I'll have a go

EDIT:  It was easier than I thought, got the convos hidden now

Kinda something like Plus boss protection in its own file that doesn't need MSN installed to work. I'm running it off the 3 required files.


I was looking at your software and you probably know already but you could use your hide and show thingie to hide the running apps and if you can be specific hide msn and use the sys tray tool and make it hide the logo.

I could use this but then it looks suspicious if half of the core components of the taskbar are missing lol
