I don't know if it's just me but how come custom emoticons can't be used in personal messages? I mean the default ones from MSN work but custom ones don't. Why's that?

By personal message u mean the normal chatting (one on one) that we do rite ?? Then the custom emotes should work
If they dont then there is a problem. What plugins do u have ?? whats ur windows, msn messenger and messenger plus! version ??

no by personal message she means personal message, the area where you can have the current playing song etc.

It's a limitation in the protocol, custom emoticons can't be used in nicknames either.

John, like Dempsey said, I meant the area right under your screen name . Perhaps I should have been more specific
