I have MSN version 7, and the plus thingy (which i love) and i also used the patch to get rid of the crappy advertising. somewhere in doing all of that i lost the ability to see my contacts comments. I can still write a comment, but i cant see theirs, just their regular name and status. help, i want this function back cos my contacts write great stuff in their comments! and i know its not from enabling the function to trunciate, i didnt do that.

Is there any way to remove the patch ??
If not then remove plus! and remove msn messenger as well ... reboot and then reinstall them
When ur done install stuffplug from http://stuffplug.com and u can remove the ads plus ull get a lot of other cool stuff

Click the patch again and select restore backup

If you delted the patch you have to reinstall msn messenger

is that personal msg .. or any other thing.. ??

IM means instant message ie the normal chat that we use.
personal msg is that thing below the online name that msn msg 7 has

I tht 'keys' meant normal msg's sent by contacts to be comments
Well tht was an assumption that i tht to be correct ... keys will have to clarify it i guess

errr, i think it was pretty obvious he/she was using a-patch and removed the advertising and the personal message bar...

==> "comments" means "personal message"

If it is A-patch, just run A-patch, select restore backups and press next.

Then you can install the patch again without checking 'remove contacts personal message'.

If you have deleted the patch you can download it from http://apatch.tk/

If you don't have any backups, go to control panel, add/remove programs, go to MSN Messenger 7 and click change. This will renistall MSN Messenger. Then you can run the patch.
