hey guys

i just got a brand new cam today and it dont work ive installed all the stuff n everythin and it says the cam is not connected. its a trust spacecam summot any help. i would b really greatful

How does the webcam connect to your computer?

If it's USB, for example, try another port and see if that makes a difference.

lol ive tried every usb port and still nothing . its getting on my nerves

When you plug the webcam into the USB port, does it recognise it has been plugged in at all?

What is the exact error message you get and when does it appear?

it nows its plugged in yeah

and i get summot sayin a error has occured and its not possible to install your cam

but the drivers r already installed

and thn i get summot like a error has occured ur hardware may not work properly

its really annoyin ive reinstalled everything and its still not working

If you are sure that the drivers are all installed, (although it might be worth reinstalling), it might be a compatability problem.

Check the system requirements for the webcam to see anything that might be causing the problem.

its all compatable (just checked)

What operating system are you running? If XP go to control panel > add hardware > follow instructions

You could also check if the cam is picking up by using something like netmeeting so you can check if its the cam or MSN problem related.
