VOIP phones are coming out of their commercial beta testing...do someone use them? Commercial companies are already offering then in US, Canada, UK, Mexico... as far as I know.. Is this already in EU? I think this could be the future way of communication!

i use skype and wish to purchase a skype phone, i've seen one i really like.

Also if i got skype out credit and their voicemail/skype in number that would be cool too

I was mentioning about normal telephones via. broadband...got all the facilities of normal phone but works on internet...no softwares

I think Vonage has it in UK!

is it any good? free cals sounds pretty much perfect to me... it would be better if they paid you to call people but that's not going to to happen.

seriously though tell me if it's reliable etc.

In ever tried it but why dont you try it? You can talk for a minute in one call, to have infinit amount of time in one call you have to charge with at least 1 euro and you still have the calls for free except for mobile phones.

Does VOIP run through your old phone line? and are they also an ISP

it runs through a brodband connection. so thats cable or adsl, the probel mis in the UK if you go for adsl it runs through your phone line and so you need to pay for bt line rental anyway so there isnt much point lol

but even if you pay BT line rental, you don't won't have free calls all the time with BT so you are still saving cash.

i'm sure i'll try this at some point and i'll post feedback here when i find out how good/bad it is

That voip thing isn't free at all, it's only free if you're talking to other users who have voipbuster, it's a common misconception that is made while downloading it.
