I've noticed a thread on windows media player freezing.. but I thought as my problem is slightly different, it'd have a different solution. I've sent for analysis, but they don't have one currently. I've been advised to re-install macromedia shockwave.. would that help it to stop crashing every 10 mins or so? Would you un-install first?

the best way is to un-install beforere installing to make sure all files are removed

Bah.. i've tried it twice, and both times the player has still crashed, even after re-booting...
