hey guys, im new here and i was wondering if there is a plug in that the displays the information on the songs im listening to and works with winamp / windows 98, or at least windows media player 7. i would appreciate it

aw i downloaded it but it doesnt seem to work remember that i have windows 98 / msn 7.0.0813 / winamp 5.093

I've just tested it on a Win98 box and it works fine.

the plug-in gets automatically installed, and i can see the configuration options in the preferences section of winamp. but how do i get it to appear in the msn-?

Tools -> Options -> Personal -> Check "Show song information from Windows Media Player as a personal message".

it wont let me check it, it says windows media 9 is required

get wmp9 then winamp will work woth msn

windows media player 9 is only compatible with windows 98 second edition, not with the standard version ...

  Many bugs and many security issues are fixed in 98SE. You should update to it for many reasons.
  98 is considered obsolete...
