Hi,

Are there any plans to add a "What I'm Listening To" plugin for Launchcast?

As far as I know, Launchcast is the only truly customisable internet radio (I've been using the free version for about a year now and I have almost no need to skip a song anymore). I've tried many other internet radio, but I keep going back to Launchcast.

Anyways, it would be really cool if the song I am listening to on Launchcast could appear next to my name in MSN Messenger. I figured that if anybody can do this, the Messenger Plus team is the one.

Doesn't Winamp have Launchcast support built-in? If so, you can use a plugin for Winamp that allows you to use it with the 'What I'm Listening To'.

I wrote a quick little application cause i am a LaunchCast Plus user and i wanted it to be in MSN "What i'm listening to". You have to use LauncCast PLus and the internet explorer version not the one built into Yahoo messenger. If you do then this will work for you. You'll find it on the link.

I may rewrite it as a plugin for msn but at the moment its a standalone exe. Just runs in the system tray. Cheers

Sorry for the delayed reply, I was on vacation...

I don't have Launchcast Plus (not available in Canada), just the regular Launchcast. So far, your plugin although it runs as described, does not seem to work with the regular version of Launchcast (songs are not being displayed in MSN Messenger).

I will try it on other machines and I will let you know if I that works.

cant you do one to free launchcast? most of people dont pay to hear launchcast...
and if it wasn't much to ask, what about the same plug-in but to AOL radio? (if it is possible off course)

If you grab the latest exe from the website link it will have the changes for the free LaunchCast player. If you have any problems just mail me. As for the AOL Radio i have never used it so i dont know how much work it would be.

the option not to show the "Launchcast" before the artist name doesn't seems to work...
