I get the same problem (exactly the same error code).

I'm using 7.0.0813.
I have tried it on English and Chinese version. No matter mess patched or not, I still install it.

(I installed MSN Messenger on D:\program files\msn messenger)

I've contacted him about it and i'll let you know it's more likly to use a-patch due to the fact mess.be is hard to team up with
