O.P. Custom Names & winks
i am using Custom names for my contacts and when a contact sends a wink the custom name is not used, (the friendly name is used int he chat window, for that individual responce

Window Manager is discontinued, for WLM try the new,
Enhancer for contact list docking, auto-hide, hide taskbar button, remove button flashing and remember keyboard layout in conversation windows

are u running any plug-ins?
do u have all the updates for windows installed?

i can't reproduce the bug

win2k, sp4, lastest msn & msgplus

Well i am using my plugin (look sig) but i know it has nothing to do with custom names :)
so it is not plugin related...

yes i have all windows updates installed but that is not a reason as well as this is a plus core issue :)

try disabling the plugin (even though, it has nothing to do with custom names), it may still effect msgplus in the custom names

Not to be rude but i know my code... BUT
i will test it without my plugin when i have a contact online since everyone is in bed right now (where i should also be :))

As i said everything is fine with contact names except when they sent me a Wink, that individual response the wink is sent by the contact shows the contact by the friendly name and not the custom name as usual

:) i was not upset,

ok i have made a more thorough test
tested with 2 accounts on same pc + 1 account on diff pc

-No plugins enabled
-Allow plugins in my account ON/OFF
-Play winks as the come ON/OFF ->MSN option


still the winks respond shows the friendly name of my contact instead of the custom name...
