cool, i suggested this feature on neowin just 2 weeks ago, but i thought of putting the contacts in the RIGHT hand collum like big convo's do.  it would be kinda cool to have them on the right side instead of the top

the new msn toolbar has tabbed browsing in IE too!!

I personally think the tabs would look more profesional under the toolbar, although it might be too difficult to implement.

Yes, to confirm it again, if you display chat windows without their borders, the tabs will still be displayed on top properly (like in the screenshot Cookie did).

For the first release, the tabs will probably be only on top and only one group will be allowed, however, this is not final and it will change in future releases. Like for the custom sounds, I want to test the feature first, make sure its core is bug free and make it as easy to use as possible for beginners. More improvements will definitively come later .
