Last time, at work, I thought that it could be interesting to have an option to disable the conversation window taskbar flash when a new IM is received...
Because this isn't very discrete...
So, I'd like to know if it is possible to disable that without any plug-in... If not, is there a plugin for that ?

RE: [Request] Remove taskbar flash
Its quite ok mixbaby, your english is quite fine (I'm french too heheh)
May I suggest you use the Boss Protection feature when you are at work ? This way, your conversations will be hiden... I know its not what you requested, but it might help
So, Fraisie.net is empty atm. I\'m trying to come up with something cool to put on it, and I will!
The Boss Protection is usefull but in some case, there is possible that you activate this too late (when the door is behind you for example )...
So this is the reason I'm asking that
With TweakUI it is possible to desactive flashes I think (confirmation ?) but impossible to remove flashes for MSN only

no, you can't. The flash thingy is common to all programs in Windows, and in fact it is Windows who is requested (by the applications) to flash the task bar.
As you've said, with TweakUI you can configure how many times the task bar is gonna flash or if it is gonna flash at all, however it is imposible to configure that per program.
I think (I'm not very sure in this) that it is possible to make a plugin that when messenger tells Windows to flash the bar, the program would intercept that message and discard it. More technically speaking, the program should hook the API call of Messenger. However, i don't think there is any plugin that already does that and I think that noone is going to do it (maybe someone does, but I don't think so)
So it become a request for a plug-in (or a new function in future MSGPLUS releases maybe ? )...
For now, i'll just remove flashes with TweakUI, and be carefull hehehe

didn't say that I said that I didn't think there was a plugin that does that; however seeing Lopardo's post, I realize there is one
