may be it has to do with the fact that u deleted them but not blocked them..dont u think?

Try reinstalling msn messenger or check your registry i think you can change something there and get more space for your contacts...

the other day it wouldn't let me add, block, or delete.... The day before i put MDX on my computer... I got rid of that... and it fixed the problem.

The contact list limit is in the MSN Servers, you won't find anything in the Registry.

NoRoom's List Cleaner is helpful for this issue. But you can simply go to the Privacy panel of MSN Messenger and delete some emails from any of those lists.

Try adding someone through Web Messenger. If it still doesn't work, it's a problem with your account.

If it works (you can add someone through Web Messenger), uninstall MSN Messenger, clear your Temporary Internet Files folder (you can do this through IE), re-install MSN Messenger and try again.

If all this fails, try contacting MSN support.

no that was me... i wasn't the one who had the problem... i just thought he might've had mdx... and it could've been a bug.

what about that u change the profile's location?!! i didn't try it , but try !

I have exactly the same problem.


I have msn 7 and in the last few weeks suddeny its stopped me from adding people.

Ive deleted 200 people now trying to make space as it says "your contact list is full" and I have 100 left. Its crap.


I wish someone would find a fix for this.
