Yeh, that would be good, a bit like mIRC where you can decide to place the window buttons on the top or bottom (and the sides, but it could be more tricky with MSN).

what about this? It's way easier to change your convo because you are always typing there and shorter to go to another convo.

Excellent point and idea, though I'm not sure it's possible to add the tabs there like that.

It's a very good idea, but it would be very hard to place it there.
And where are the arrows?

I think it's easier the way Patchou did it.

i cba making a concept but how about putting it where the ad bar would be (the one that says "Customise Messenger..")

I think I prefer it the way Patchou has designed it, or right at the bottom, possibly.

Personally i do not like MartinL's concept (no offence) I just feel they will get in the way of the chatting window.

I think the Patchou is good although Calvin provides a good point, but they could clash with the ads
