I just installed Zone Alarm but it doesn't work. It keeps on restarting the computer because of the "Generic Host Process for Win32 Service". When the computer starts back up, it says that there was a critical error.

There's some problem with-
C:\DOCUME~1\MUMAND~3\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER876a.dir00\Mini071505-05.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\MUMAND~3\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER876a.dir00\sysdata.xml
They are trying to be deleted or something.

Anyone know what the problem is? I always have problems with firewalls

These files are 'logs' of your computer problem, reading sysdata.xml could give you more detailed information about the problem that makes it restart. You could also uninstall ZA, check for virus/adware/malware/spyware.

When I have Zone Alarm uninstalled it doesn't restart. I have scanned for viruses/adware/spyware/malware but I can't find anything. The computer restarts when I get the ZA pop-up saying Allow or Deny 'Generic Host Process for Win32 Service'. When I click a Allow or Deny, the computer will just restart. That is the only time it restarts.

first of all, ZoneAlarm has had its problems,, try SyGate or Kerio Personal Firewall,  try Googling or looking in the Frequently Asked Questions in the zonelabs website on this matter

that's weird...also try www.download.com, there are reviews, free downloads....
