Is it only me, or is nobody able to send email from inside Gmail?

For me it just keeps saying:
"Oops...the system was unable to perform your operation.
Please try again in a few seconds."

I can still sign in, sign out, read email, search email, but just not send. I can get to the compose page.

No, I just sent an e-mail from Gmail and it worked fine, infact I can send it from both Thunderbird and the Website.

I just sent one with no problems.

Works fine here. Try clearing you cookies and temp intenet files.

It is working okay for me to read and send emails, but I can't open links...

Are you using your normail G-mail internet browser? (IE/Firefox)

i guess u should do wat it says...try after sometime, a day aftr....i get the error sometimes but only on the starting screen...where it says loading...

Fine here, maybe they're trying to implement a new feature and they are doing it server by server, thus making yours lose features?

Yes, and no. I am using my normal browser, that I always check my Gmail account in, but it isn't IE/Firefox, it's Opera!

try some different browser then. did ya clear the cookies and temp files. also, try logging in frm www.gmail.google.com
