O.P. Whats With My Monitor? ALL BLACK!
ok.. after my stupid router problem.. here's another thing coming up.. my monitor fucked up.. I rlly dunno what happened.. I was simply going through my control panel, in the Internet/Network section and PPOUFFF.. the image sort of came forward and came backward then went black.. i shut off the computer then.. tried putting my laptop on the screen.. the green light showing that something appears on the screen is on ( my computer has one light that lights 3 in 3 colours dependply of these reasons : Black ( It's off, no electricity in it ) Orange ( Its on but no pc is transmitting anything to show ) Green ( On and transmitting image ) )

soo ye.. thats bout it it still lights green when I get it on, but other than that the whole thing is black.. and I rlly dunno how to fix it.. anyone has a clue..? or is this monitor going directly to garbage?

I had this weird case where the brightness and contrast would turn right down by itself, and the monitor settings menu would pop up and scroll around by itself - but it was weird. I never really figured it out.

Does your monitor still show the "no display is detected" when there is no input?

I think I blew up something, is there anyway to fix it or is buying a new monitor the only alternative?

With repair costs, it's practically cheaper just to get a new monitor.

That happened to me, it just went off. I just bought a new one though, might be your best bet. Was it a CFT or TFT?

CRT - Cathode Ray Tube, like your old TV.
TFT - Thin-film transistor, I guess the most common for of LCD display.
