If you get a response then it is more likely to be a router setting? If you get timed out, try the manual configuration shown at the bottom.
I found a similar thread but it didn't say how he fixed the problem.
If you still want to hard reset try googling your router model + hard reset
Edit: Oh, one idea to try first - Disable DHCP, Manually set your IP address to 192.168.0.2, subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway to 192.168.0.1 and DNS servers to 61.9.192.14/61.9.128.15. Reset your router (and computer if you're using win98) and see what happens. Only try this if you can't detect the router at all.
I can connect to the net thru it.
Ive seen that thread allready, i think he just had the default adress wrong. When i ping my router the response is fine, dosnt drop any packets and only takes 1ms to acess.
As for manually setting my Ip adress, i did that a week before it screwed up and then when it did i went back to auto, ive tried going back to manual but couldnt acess it, and now (scince my ISP changed thier DNS Servers) when i manually set it i cant acess the net at all.
I swear it dosnt have a reset button, I cant see one, I cant see it in the manual, I cant see it on thier site, I cant see it in thier forums.
