Hi guys
I'm upgrading my coffeemaker and I will need something to backup
- MsgPlus settings
- Icons
- Custom images
- Winks
- etc.

Does any1 know something (maybe a plugin) for this ?

There isn't a plugin but:

Go to Plus! > Preferences, and there is a little link at the bottom saying "Import/Export Preferences", export those.

For the others, a program can be found at www.mess.be that can export custom emotes and stuff. The winks, I am honestly not sure at all .

Look through that same thread Backing up muggins/moods/winks and you will find useful ways to backup them all up.

I also found this program which i haven't tried, but it looks pretty good. MSN BackUp

MSN Backup is a little program that can backup your stuff, including winks, you can find it at www.baisoft.it, but since that's an Italian site here's a direct link.

I have tried the MSN Backup on Windows ME, it works, but when I go back to my own computer with Windows XP, I tried to search for my ID (there is a field to fill it the email), windows pop up and say the program is trying to access some protected area, type in the password to continue..something like that, the problem is, I have tried all the passwords I know, and it still doesn't work....has anyone encountered the same problem?

well, i finally tried msn backup but I got no luck coz It keeps telling me that my msn addres xxxxx@hotmail.com is not available in the PC where it is running...

Well, i tried the manual way of getting my id with the msg6_id.exe and after i got my id, copied the id_folder to my new messenger installation...

but got no luck ...

I don't want to think that I'll looose all my icons, buaaaa
