O.P. Where's Msgplus.exe in Processes?
I can't see it on the list, but it still runs when I use MSN. I'm sure it used to be there. Also, in Spybot: System Start-up, MsgPlus.exe is unticked meaning it shouldn't start up, but it does... :s

If you use "Alternative mode" in Plus! Preferences -> General Options -> Miscellaneous -> Messenger Attach method, Plus! will load with MSN Messenger even though msgplus.exe is not loaded at startup.

However, please note: switching to Alternative Mode does not remove the startup registry for msgplus.exe :)

I had that same "issue" recently... I started up Messenger knowing that MsgPlus.exe wasn't running, yet the Plus! menu was there anyway! :o

I figured out that it was being loaded by this registry key..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\AppInit_DLLs

It's being loaded by that registry for me too.

It is beeing loaded like that for everybody who selected "Alternative mode" as that is what the function is supposed to be doing. If you don't want that, choose another startup method in the Plus! preferences as Mnjul has said.

(PS: this was a Messengr Plus! related question and thus should've been posted in the subforum "Messenger Plus Help & Support")
