Does anyone know of a good PHP Proxy Checker? I searched hotscripts.com and only found one that isn't that great.

EDIT: So I don't look dodgy, I need it for a anonymous serfing program that I'm working on.

Proxy checker? Try connect to the proxy with a PHP socket and if it succeeds it's working

Well I need something with a little more options to it like:

1. What country the proxy is from
2. If its Transparent or Anonymous
3. How fast it is
4. and what you said to do.

I've always wondered, what is the difference between a transparent proxy and a anonymous proxy?

A transparent proxy will pass your infomation (browser info and such) on to the requersted page as for a anonymous proxy will not. It will mask your ip, and hide all your browser info. An Elite Proxy makes you totaly anonymous to the requested page's server by hideing all infomation 100%. But these are rare.
