no, because the current dissapates as you move back and off to the side, and no yo wont drown

jeez, the pool is tiny, if you couldn't handle the current, then you will just travel all of half a foot where you will hit a wall, then you can climb out and have a shower.

we have a swimming pool wiv a current thingy but the thing is it all depends on the person using the current coz it can be a weak one but what if that person is young ...or old or ill???

they are far from useless. Such pools are used all over the place: top-athlete/sport training centres, revalidation centres, scientific centres (eg: boats, etc...), test centres (eg: boats, gulf studies, etc...), etc.. etc...

That would be the only thing I would use it for. I would invite friends over and have competitions to see who could hold on the longest
