It wood be nice if your ware abble to use/add "sub grups" i your contact list..

MSNM does not support subgroups, so this is impossible.

Why do you need subgroups?

Just create more groups

Contacts > manage groups > Create new

if you so desire subgroups give them subgroup names i.e.

Major group - Friends
Minor group - Friends A

i think it would be kinda cool too

family
    |
    |offline family
Friends
    |
    |Distant friends
    |
    |offline friends

it would only be possible using a third-party contact list window (which is definately not easy to code). bettermsn had this feature but the third-party contact list made it a bit useless

I am in a gaming clan, playing "Black hawk down" and "Battlefield2". we are 43 members ant it wood be cool 2 split my clan grup up im 2,3 under grups.

          I--> Clan grupe Staff.
          I         I
          I         I--> Staff.
          I         I
          I         I--> Server/TS admin 
          I         I
          I         I--> Battlefield
          I         I
          I         I--> BHD

and so on, if you get my drift

the same if you are in a firm, you have departments

And as M_E said it would be difficult to code...
