I can't use the Contact list Cleanup cause the option is grayed out. Does anyone know why this is and how can I re-enable it without reinstalling plus!?

This bug is caused by an internal error. Did you try restarting Messenger and/or your computer?

Doesn't help, I have had this problem for over a week now

Have you updated/changed/added plugins since it happened?

I don't know for how long I've had the problem, but last week I wanted to use the function and I was unable, thinking it might be an one time error I ignored it, after a couple of days it was still there, I uninstalled all my plugins and removed the plugins folder, then recreated it and reinstalled the plugins I have now. But I still have the grayed-out function.

EDIT: I Also deleted the registry keys that the plugins left, that didn't have an uninstaller.

But that can't be it, cause I know how to use the registry and I had it before I removed my plugins.

By any chance is Windows Messenger running in the background on your computer (msmsgs.exe)?

EDIT: The Contact list-Cleaner is accesible again, msmsg isn't running.

But it's strange cause it always ran in the background and never had any problems.

When both of softwares are running its absolutly necessary for Windows Messenger to start first on the computer so that Plus! can hook it properly, then MSN Messenger can run and there wont be any problems in the two. What I did was under C:\Program Files\Messenger renamed msmsgs.exe to 1msmsgs.exe and whenever I needed to run it changed the name . Beats removing it forever lol.
