RE: your worst Viruses, Worms, and hackings in your computer
use to get tons of spyware viruses and all that stuff when i was noob, (i aint now )
i got the comp restart after 1 miute virus had to reload, comp got killed by something, couldnt load up windows at all, tried to recover, cd broke cause my cd drive closed before the disk was in so i had to wait 2 months for a free windows xp from microsoft ( )
since then, about a year ago, i have gotten like 2 crap viruses because i used internet explorer to see a pirating site and no spyware and never in my life have had any of those msn worms, stupid ass things

RE: your worst Viruses, Worms, and hackings in your computer
When i got my new computer about a year and a half ago. My dad set up the internet, but hadn't installed a firewall or an antivirus. It was right at the time of the sasser worm, so my computer got infected after less than a day of being online.
I coudln't access the internet, and my system kept shutting down every couple of minutes which was the most annoying. We got some fix for it from my dads work computer which cleaned it. Then i installed a firewall and an antivirus. I haven't had a virus since then.

RE: your worst Viruses, Worms, and hackings in your computer
Viruses: Aprox. 300-400
However, the most (if not all) are ones I purposely downloaded for fun, testing, reporting, etc. And I used proper procedure while handeling most of them. One or Two HAVE escaped on me though .
Hack Attempts: 1
Successes: 0
Once I had a program that sent all my passwords back to the creator...firewall blocked it and I promptly destroyed the program.
thats about it .

I have Wndows XP SP2, Norton Antivirus 2005, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, Spybot 1.4, Ad-Aware SE Pro 1.06 and Spyware Doctor 3.2.
Now I never had more problems with virus, hackers, spyware, worms etc.

RE: your worst Viruses, Worms, and hackings in your computer
I haven't had one for about 3 years now - before that it was mostly due to my brothers downloading things.
Right now I run Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition which means a centrally located update facility and quarrantine.
I do however receive about 85 viruses a day in my mailbox for mybboard.com and surfionline.com, they're picked up by the server and then a notice with pretty graphs is sent to me whilst others which aren't caught are deteced by Symantec Antivirus.
Note, I also run a hardware (well its software really) Smoothwall firewall box on my connection which basically drops alot of incoming packets from dodgy places and into dodgy ports so being behind this firewall with NAT makes things pretty secure.
For anyone interested here are the stats for viruses hitting my email accounts for yesterday:
1. Worm.SomeFool.Z - 6
2. Worm.Mydoom.M -6
3. Worm.Bagle.AG - 8
4. HTML.Phishing.Bank-28 - 2
5. HTML.Phishing.Auction-42 - 2
6. HTML.Phishing.Bank-31 - 2
7. Worm.Bagle.Gen-zippwd - 4
8. Worm.SomeFool.AA-2 - 4
9. Worm.SomeFool.Gen-1 - 6
10. HTML.Phishing.Bank-49 - 4
11. HTML.Phishing.Bank-3 - 2
12. Worm.SomeFool.P - 28
13. Exploit.HTML.IFrame - 11

Yes Norton Antivirus is very good. The version witch give us more protection is Norton Internet Security 205 Anti-Spyware Edition. (It include Norton Antivirus 2005).
Sorry any English mistake

Not really, it sucks actually.
Kaspersky and Symantec A/V are good though.
