Used Mandriva 10.1 before and kinda problematic, I had to disconnect my USB Printer so the OS can boot. And I'm testing FC4 and i was going to put to download Ubuntu the past night. FC4 is very good as I can say and easy, but must download aditional RPMs so it can read NTFS partitions and also MP3s  .

so? his pc is windows atm, isn't it? he's considering linux, so why does it matter how VMware works on FC4? he can put it on a windows machine to try them all out first ¬_¬

im thinknig ima use ubuntu from these comments lol, and i ahve it on cd somewhere too so it's all set! thanks for all the help guys... but no1 did answer my question about the linux msn messenger alternative? i take it that there isnt one then?
