everytime i do my weekly scan with mcafee, a jave torjan appears, i delete the file but it comes back in every scan
the file is: javainstaller.jar-3c936701362c632e.zip
i googled but not really any help

its identified the trojan as a Generic Downloader.v

I don't think it's a java virus, just a virus disguised as a java file.

Try to do a scan with another scanner, like Panda.

Panda also has a good online scanner to scan with, so you don't have to download a trial.

well i just deleted it now on mcafee but it came up on trend micro online scan so im guessin it will jus spawn each time its deleted

i get crap like that alot

my AVG jus deletes it before it does anything...

Definately not Java - it's disguised as that to prey on people's misconceptions that Java only runs in webpages, and in a safe manner. As it keep appearing, you may want to do a full adware/spyware/virus scan, to get rid of every piece of malware possible.

go and clear your java cache in the control panel
