O.P. Problems Installing Windows
OK, I'm trying to install windows 2000 on my HDD, but XP exists and it says it won't let me downgrade, i want to dual boot them, and it will only install off an OS, not on start-up, so what can i do?

It MUST be possible somehow, and i only have 1 HDD

RE: Problems Installing Windows
Umm , What about that install win 2000 from the boot CD and select an other partition, and that should work so easy

and sure u cant' install win2000 from winxp

and if u face any boot selection problem , u can install a boot manager program like OSL2000 Boot Manager

RE: Problems Installing Windows
yes the likelyhood is you're trying to install the two different windows version on the same partition... make a second partition on your hard drive and install the other windows.
