I thought that plus! had this option before but after talking to Matty I came to realise that what I have "used" for all this time doesn't really exist (it's quite scary actually). It would be a great option to integrate into plus! and would love to see this implemented any place that filtering happens. Basically Auto Accept and Chat Logging contact filtering must be extended to allow the filtering on a group based system too. Eg: Say you had a group in your contact list called friends, then you can choose to accept File Transfers from that group).

This would be really ideal since one would set permissions on a group based system instead of going though and adding say 60 contacts manually!

Another suggestion that I just came up with while typing this out is the contact/goup based word filtering so that only certain usergroups have word filters placed on them.

Please comment on my suggestions! Hopefully they will get implemented!

(p.s. Patchou put my hallucinogenic mind to ease and implement this feature )

i think this is a great idea.  its like how it has "all other contacts" in block and unblock list in MSN.  this would just allow groups to be allowed

I think i suggested having individual properties for people, such as

accept everything from contact A
accept files from C
accept nothing from X

etc you get the idea
