What is the Firefox extension? I've been wondering about something like this for a while.

As for the MSN spell checker, I didn't really think most people cared about proper spelling when using an IM service. Generally what I do  if I'm unsure of how to spell something is to go to dictionary.com or Mariam-Webster online.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your thread. You can find a firefox extension called spellbound which you can find here.
I think that after you install it you need to install a dictionary or something so you get the right language. You will see what I mean when you download it.
