O.P. [FIXED]Help with old burner
I'm currently building another PC with unused parts I've found in my house, and i found a Creative CDRW 8x4x32x (creative 8435e) :O
I searched Creative website and this product never existed, then googled and found also different versions... supposdly Creative never made this (8436e, 8438e...). My question... any site with firmware for this drive? And if anybody knows why there's not a single sign from Creative of these drives?

maybe because you're looking at the wrong number for the version?

Got a camera?

It clearly says RW8435e.
I took some pictures but could get a good focused one.

Is the drive actually manufactured by Creative? I don't think this is the case, and if so, firmware from the manufacturer for whatever brand will work.

My Sony drive is manufactured by LiteOn and has been flashed to LiteOn firmware.

Thanks guys! Searching for images in google took the to another webpage.

You were correct rav0. My drive wasn't made by Creative. The original model is Samsung SW-208 xD
