entapi.dll is the cause (my case). I renamed it and all works for me. its in system32 folder.
Im looking now for what application its used by.

I have mc afee enterprise 8.0 installed here and I've been looking through and its from it.

that happened to me when i installed the messenger 7
and already had plus.
what i did was to unistall plus and reinstall it and it worked perfectly

This occasionally happens to me as well. Any ideas

I have no any Plug-in at all but I still can't log in.

Confirmed, renaming ths file worked on all of my PCs that have this issue. Whatever this file is/does, does seem to have an ill effect with messenger plus!

After doing some Googling, it looks like entapi.dll has cause issues with other programs in the past. It apparently may be the buffer overflow system that is built into mcafee 8.

Maybe messenger plus is leaking?

Hi.
I'm using the latest version of MSN Messenger and plus! and my msn sign out too, nad after that i can't connect (have to restart the msn to reconect)
I found that the reason for that to happen is the change internet ip (my internet connection drops and when it come back whith a new ip can't reconect)
Any solution to the problem?
