I sometimes use messenger at quite a distance and font size 16 isn't quite big enough. Is there anyway I can bypass the messenger font limit and make it bigger? Many thanks.

When you're in an IM do you change it in the font settings... or Tools --> Font Size --> Largest

Okay.... well.... I just tested it out and I guess they move together depending on what size font you choose... I didn't think it did. There could be a way somebody could make a plug-in to let you have bigger fonts. You'd have to be patient, and I'm not sure if anybody would even do it.

i guess you could use the XP magnify glass thing..

click anywhere in the main conversation part of a chat window (where messages appear), hold down Ctrl and scroll up and down to change font size

only problem is this doesnt save when you close it
