Wow thanks for the effort guys greatly appreciated.
Any idea which one will run with a small footprint this is a pretty low end machine?
If not dont worry ill test them out as i go and find the best one
Haha i dont particularly like it either i was just playing around with it on an old pc. I was actually hopefully to run a stripped down version of xp on it and just play around and test stuff but i have had some problems getting xp to install.
I probably should start another thread and will if you suggest it but does anyone know whats happening. I set the bios to boot from cdrom first. and i put my xp cd in (which is actually a corporate licence edition from my dads business) it asks me to press any key to boot from cd so i do. Then it asks me to type A to install windows xp home edition or B to install windows xp professional edition (this is what its sposed to do).
I choose B then it accepts and brings up text saying "checking hardware configuration" then just goes to a black screen and sits there forever???
EDIT: Wow sorry for the double post did someones post get deleted between mine. (the one about hating Linux) ??
