O.P. All contacts offline after changing email address

I recently changed my sign-in address through the passport acount services site. It said it would automatically update all my contacts with my new email and that it would take approx. 1 hr to do so. When I sign into MSN Messenger 7.5 or webmessenger all my contacts are there but they are shown offline and I know some of them are actually online for a fact.

Can anyone help please?

Well first your contacts have to accept that e-mail adress.

A quciker way is too save your contacts to file (there is an option in the menu) then import that file into your new account
