Actually we were all supporting Australia at school today (they turned the tv on), just because of Hiddink. When he was the coach of SK, everyone in Holland was supporting them, since the Netherlands didn't make it..

Sunshine: The dutch and the spanish Football teams are the most pathetically dissapointing teams ever ... so much talent .... no output

Not to mention the english They should be banned from soccer if they dont reach atleast the semi's They always seem to meet good opponents early on but ffs if you are such a good team then you should beat them.

Most european teams which underachieve have the problem that the team doesnt work well together but individually the players may be awesome (which doesnt count most of the time )

Like any other American sport its so abrupt, stopping every 20 seconds (yes, I am aware this is an exaggeration) to ponce about with stuff - baseball and NFL are the same. In football (soccer) over here you can actually get 30 minutes of consecutive uninterrupted play.
