RE: Good Instrumental Bands
Jools & Co Full Lineup:

Gilson Lavis [Drums]
Mark Flanagan [Guitar]
Dave Swift [Bass Guitar]
Jason McDermid / Chris Storr / Jon Scott [Trumpet]
Rico Rodriguez / Winston Rollins / Roger Goslyn [Trombone]
Nick Lunt [Baritone Saxaphone]
Phil Veacock / Michael 'Bammi' Rose / Fayyaz Virgi [Tenor Saxaphone]
Lisa Graham / Derek Nash [Alto Saxaphone]
Christopher Holland (Jools' younger brother) [Organ]

Damn, it looks like such a small amount of people on paper, but they sound like a orchestra 5 times the size in real life.

Now... if I search for Jools and Co I don't get much?... is that why you have people in bold?... Just search for them and I should get something?

"Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra"
"Tom Jones & Jools Holland"

dude!!!!

Charles Mingus Baby!!!!!

the world needs charles mingus. a damn bully, but a genious. He literally beat his band into shape. known to smash his players over the head with musical instruments (headcase!)

Best Bass player ever i reckon.

some good picks:

Moanin' Mambo
Haitan Fight Song (some of my favourite EVER solos)
Charlie Brown Theme Tune
Have you met miss Jones?
Summertime
Take The A Train
Work Song
Body And Soul

OOOOOH yeah, this jazz is cooooool, music to wear shades to :D
