Its not in my add/remove programs list and when I try and uninstall the program files after searching for it I am told 'cannot delete access is denied, make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."

Any suggestions please ?

That shouldn't be happening (obviously ), try pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del, pressing the "Processes" tab, and closing the process "msgplus.exe", then try and uninstall, if that does not work, then download the latest version of Messenger Plus! from http://msgplus.net/download.php, install that again, and try uninstalling, as some files could be corrupt.

Make sure all programs related to MSN Messenger are closed during uninstallation too.

Check in your start menu. When you have a limited account then Plus! cannot have it shown in the Add/Remove Programs.

But there should be an uninstall link in the start menu.

I eventually managed to delete it from my search program. Deleted as many of the files as it would let me first time and re-booted. It then disappeared from my messnger 7, but on searching again the program files were still there. However it let me delete them this time without get the "Unable to delete..... message..... "

Go to the folder you installed it to (Program Files by default) and delete it.
