Hi.  I know the methods for checking if somebody opened your window are mostly unreliable now... this is more of a parallel thing:

All alerts that I tried makes a pop-up.  Is is possible to log these alerts?  Now I know it's probably totally possible... but is it easy to do?  Is it already out there?

Any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Oh for whomever's interested, here's the backstory on WHY I would want this...

There's this guy... you see... we fought and now we're not talking.  But I'd like to know if he's even remotely interested in my life now.  If he opens my window, that's a positive sign, right?  But I'm not going to sit here and wait for pop-ups.  And the thing with pop-up's is... they go away.  Hence my desire for a log.

Now now... before you judge... I KNOW I am pathetic.  But hey!  If technology allows it, why not?

These "pop-ups" are actually called toasts. I don't think that anybody could log them unless if TB would add it into Stuffplug... and I'm pretty sure (almost positve) he's taking a break from programming for some reason or another.



So... I don't think this will happen any time soon.


EDIT: so I was wrong... haha... I thought he broke his arm or something?.... and then after that I thought school was getting to be too much or something.. guess not oh well.

The new design for the website + forums is in the making and so is StuffPlug ver. 3, so he is not on break

i cant do it but im sure someone could make a plugin to over ride the toasts and log the evnts instead...but it will still be ubreliable,
so if your "friend"'s msn connects with you to check your name, stats, dp ..then you will get your hopes up and think he isinterested but when really all it is, is msn detecting info.

I thought that the new window open notifier in the newest stuffplug was like 95 percent accurate?.... It seems like it cause I don't usually get toasts unless somebody does actually open the convo window... The only time it's not really accurate is when I get a bunch at the same time.

this has been discussed alot of times in the stuffplug forums. and i know ive read somewhere that the messenger plus! API provides access to the event log now. so it may well be something put into stuffplug in the future

The 95% was for how compatible StuffPlug was with MSNM 7.5 since it is only a beta.
