recently there was a power outage and the computer turned off because the power went out. the computer is actually my work computer which is connected to another computer elsewhere. this computer is used only for shop sales etc. nothing else. when the power came back on i had to switch on the main computer and then switch on this one. but this one didnt want to work and it came up with the following error.

dectecting floppy drive 4 media...
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

there isnt suppose to be anything in the floppy disk drive..
does anybody have any idea as to what is wrong with it?

yeah i can.. but i dont know what to disk to put in..

what do you mean put it as a slave?
i mean the two computers used to have a lan connection and it still wouldnt work

im not soo great with this stuff so youre going to have to explain it a bit more to me

ehh i dont know if i wana open up my working pc.. i dont wana screw it up

this has happened to me quite a bit before.  all i had to do was unplug the HDD's power cord and the IDE cord from it and then replug them in tightly and see if that works.
