It would be logical that the plugin engine is updated, but I'm just wanting to know if it'll render everything old totally incompatible.
It is going to be updated and recoded from scratch with new features added as far as I know.
But I don't think your going to need to recode the plugins but the Plugin Infrastructure has yet to be developed so only time will tell.
