Hello all.... I'm Carl.. I have a serious problem.. Yes with messenger too!

Bascially i was happily chatting away on MSN last night to a friend... And MSN thought it would be a gay beat and sign me out.. Now i went to sign back in and it wouldnt input my credential's straight away... I had to wait like 4 sec's for then to come up on the screen! Now once i had input my username and password, Tried signing in and i got this message straight away..



And then when i go to the troubleshooting page.. I get this:



Any ideas? I don't have a clue what my proxy setting's are supposed to be on so i havent touched any of that!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Do you have Windows XP Firewall turned 'On' by any chance?

Yeh i do... It's been on all the time and MSN has been happily chugging away

But it's all good now... I did as i was told.. Left the comp.. Went out and then fired it back up and it seemed fine

XP firewall doesn't block Messenger by default: it allows it if it's installed in the default location. If it's been moved elsewhere, you get prompted.

Well thank's everyone... I now need help with something else...

I want to use the handwriting feature on MSN but apparently i have to download something called Journal Veiwer!?
