It opens an internet window, and then asks if I want to download a file... it's an MS-DOS Application...

That looks a lot like it... the link was different... but it seems basically the same... I'll wait and see what Dane gets too see if it's the same.

Indeed, this appears to be a new version of the ever-continuing messenger worms.  Delete it and you should be safe.

Good good... I'll have to make sure I update Norton again then... Cause God knows how many people are going to get infected with this cause they're not that smart.

McAfee has identified the worm as W32/NoChod@mm, just a new variant of it.  Protection will be issued on or by Feb. 22nd, 2006.

Symantec is still processing the file.
